Tyrolit acquires Scanmaskin to strengthen its market position in floor preparation
Published 2/4 at 10:18Effective from 1 January 2025, the Tyrolit Group has acquired 100% of the Scanmaskin Group. This acquisition enhances Tyrolit’s market position in the floor preparation sector, making it a full service and system provider in this field.
The acquisition is yet another strategic move that will further expand Tyrolit’s product portfolio in the floor preparation sector. Scanmaskin has a long standing history and is a well-established brand in the floor preparation market, known for its high quality and reliable products. The company’s headquarters and production facilities are located in Lindome, near Gothenburg, Sweden. This site will remain operational and be further strengthened under the Tyrolit Group.
Member of the executive board for Tyrolit’s Construction Industries segment Andreas Sauerwein commented: “The acquisition of Scanmaskin sends a clear message: floor preparation is a key growth market for us, and we are committed to investing in it. By integrating Scanmaskin, we are expanding our product range and are offering customers a more comprehensive solution portfolio.”
