Tailored solutions for demolition projects

Containerdienst Adler GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its equipment fleet with an assortment of attachments from Epiroc. These include the HB 2000 hydraulic breaker, the CC 3100 combi cutter, the BP 3050 R bulk pulveriser, and the MG 1800 R multi grapple.

A key factor in the acquisition of the Epiroc equipment was the close collaboration between Ralf Schumann, area sales manager at Epiroc, and Robin Hallbauer, sales manager at Nagel Baumaschinen. Together, they analysed the customer’s specific requirements and identified the optimal equipment for the respective operating conditions. Managing director Thomas Adler emphasised the crucial role of this consultation, which enabled the company to carry out demolition projects efficiently and accurately.

Current project in Eisenberg

Currently Epiroc attachments are being used in Saale-Holzland-Kreis on the site of the future service centre of the district office in Eisenberg on Jenaer Straße. Here, demolition work on the former heating plant has begun. The flat building section is being deconstructed, and the concrete rubble is used to create a fall bed for the old, 60m high chimney, which is being partially dismantled by crane and partially by professional blasting. Containerdienst Adler GmbH & Co. KG is responsible for the demolition tasks.

Epiroc’s comprehensive service was also said to be a key factor. A service technician was on hand during the handover to optimally adjust the equipment and train operating personnel in safe handling and maintenance. This technical support ensures that the attachments perform at their full capacity and are always ready for use – an aspect that Containerdienst Adler values highly. By combining quality and competent service, Containerdienst Adler believes it is optimally equipped for future demolition projects.
