Goldhofer to show customised solutions for heavy haul at bauma 2025

Published 27/2 at 13:40

At bauma 2025, the world’s largest trade show for construction machinery, Goldhofer will showcase innovative solutions. The event will take place from 7 to 13 April 2025, at Messe Munich.

Self-propelled modular transporter with hydraulic widening and ‘E-PowerPack’

Goldhofer’s standout display will feature the PST/SL-E split self-propelled modular transporter with hydraulic widening. With an axle load of 45t and a width range of 3,000 to 5,100mm, this transporter is designed to offer efficient performance for heavy and bulky loads. The hydraulic widening ensures secure transport with fewer axles. The system will be powered by the new E-PowerPack, a result of Goldhofer'’s experience in electric aircraft tow tractors.

‘Arcus’ P 5 with ‘Cargoplus’ tyres for the lowest loading height

The Arcus P 5, equipped with Cargoplus tyres, is said to offer the market’s lowest loading height (735mm) and features a 500mm suspension stroke, making loading safer and easier. It is said to combine excellent manoeuvrability and low tyre wear, thanks to its forced and friction steered axles. With its user-friendly controls and multiple load securing options, the Arcus P 5 aims to set new standards for the industry.

Goldhofer and TECO provide a powerful partnership

Goldhofer will collaborate with TECO GmbH, who will showcase its HS 850 heavy duty crane mounted on the Arcus P 5. The crane features a hybrid drive system that can operate electrically or with an external power source. This combination is designed to enhance flexibility and efficiency, particularly for off road operations, where Goldhofer’s precision self-propelled heavy duty modules are said to excel in manoeuvrability.

Wind power logistics with the RA 3-100 (4+7)

Goldhofer’s RA 3-100 will be on display and is seen as an ideal solution for transporting tower sections in the wind power industry. With a 100t payload and 2,000mm stroke, it offers stability and efficient operation. The PST/SL-E split transporter is also designed for handling heavy loads with high centres of gravity, making it ideal for wind turbine components.

Revolutionising digital transport planning

Goldhofer aims to advance digital transport planning with the new ‘HeavyGoods’ app. which replaces Goldhofer’s previous solution,. The app streamlines planning and integrates advanced algorithms to calculate axle loads, rollover stability, and other critical factors. It reduces the need for specialised personnel and speeds up permit processes. At bauma 2025, visitors can explore the app and its functionalities firsthand.

‘Starline’ aid construction site logistics

Goldhofer’s Starline series, featuring the ‘Stepstar’ and ‘Trailstar’ models, will also be showcased. These models are designed to stand out for their low ride heights, high manoeuvrability, and minimal deadweight, which result in fuel savings and full operational flexibility. The Stepstar Z 4 offers low ride height and an axle load of 10t, while the Trailstar 4 is designed for transporting construction machinery.
