Ecomondo turns 25 this year
Published 4/7, 2022 at 08:37Ecomondo, an event for technological and industrial innovation in the green and circular economy sector, is renewing its commitment to the environmental challenges to be pursued with the people, associations and consortia that have worked with it since the beginning 25 years ago, to achieve these shared objectives.
These objectives are the cornerstone of the packed programme of conferences, debates and discussion spaces that present and anticipate new trends and data, nationally and internationally, related to the circular economy in various sectors. "We are working to ensure that an increasingly sensitive and attentive public is made aware on a daily basis of the major climate issues, to which all other strategies must be linked. This is our duty as a trade show organisation,” said Lorenzo Cagnoni, Chairman of Italian Exhibition Group.
A shared path, which began in 1997 with Ricicla, has led to Ecomondo becoming an international event for interconnection and communication between players in the ecological and energy transition, pushing towards specialisation in high-potential sectors with an increasingly strong international character. The next edition of Ecomondo will be held in Rimini, Italy, from 8 to 11 November.
