Doppstadt Systemtechnik to be renamed Allreco GmbHPublished 10/5 at 11:40
As of 1June 2021, Doppstadt Systemtechnik GmbH (DSG) will be renamed as Allreco GmbH with the aim of the new name being to establish the company as an independent brand focused on the development of stationary recycling systems.
This will see Allreco operating separately from Doppstadt Beteiligungs GmbH, being a part of LIG GmbH from June onwards.
Doppstadt Beteiligungs GmbH has combined its Doppstadt Calbe, Doppstadt Umwelttechnik and DSG brands under one umbrella. Henning Strunz, managing director of DSG, explains: “The name Doppstadt has stood for innovative environmental technology for decades. It is firmly established in the market. Doppstadt Systemtechnik also benefits from this. However, the uniform naming also has its disadvantages, some of our prospective and existing customers do not perceive the DSG as an independent brand.” This situation has led DSG to therefore change its name. “The strategic reorganisation should help our customers to recognise Allrecco as an independent brand with a focus on the development of recycling solutions for stationary use.” The name change does not entail any internal or external changes in structure.
The machines and plants that Allreco develops will continue to be manufactured either by Doppstadt Umwelttechnik, or by a selected partner company of Allrecco. Furthermore, the stationary recycling systems will continue to offer customers smart, complete solutions. Like DSG, Allrecco GmbH is active worldwide, with a focus on markets in Europe, Japan, Korea and Singapore. For Strunz, one thing is certain: “Allrecco is the clever combination of our many years of experience as a traditional family owned company and the pioneering idea of breaking new ground.”
