Digging boom and digging bucket from Sennebogen
Published 2/4 at 11:07The new Sennebogen ‘830 Demolition Vario Tool’ with digging boom and digging bucket will be presented to the public for the first time at bauma 2025 at the Sennebogen booth, outdoor area FM.712.
In recent years, the Sennebogen 830 Demolition Vario Tool has proven itself in demolition, demonstrating its flexibility and performance particularly on confined, inner city construction sites. Its compact dimensions, environmentally friendly Stage V engine technology and high load capacity with a 360o swivelling range, make it the perfect helper in difficult conditions and confined working areas. Its maximum track width of 4.5m – said to be the widest support square in this machine class – provides a secure footing and vibration free working, even on particularly heavy jobs.
Transport to the next construction site can be realised easily and cost effectively thanks to the counterweight that can be lowered at the touch of a button. For the driver, the ‘Maxcab’ large capacity cab with roof and front protection guard fitted as standard, and optional ‘bullet proof’ glass equipment, provides a high standard of safety and increased comfort. The cab can be raised by 2.80m and tilted by 30o as standard thanks to the extra torsion resistant cab elevation. Ergonomic working and a constantly optimised view of the work area are said to be ensured.
New digging boom and digging bucket
After a building has been demolished, the debris must be disposed of, and the site often has to be levelled or a new excavation pit has to be created afterwards. The new digging boom of the Sennebogen 830 E Demolition Vario Tool , the EA12 with a reach of 12m, has a robustly constructed, three part boom, which enables lifting capacities of up to 6t and can also operate particularly heavy demolition tools of larger machine classes (e.g. the Sennebogen 870 E Demolition). The machine has been designed with high levels of manoeuvrability within the working area and covers virtually every angle.
By moving a bolt on the boom, the operator can choose between two kinematic positions: firstly, the extended ‘KA’ compact boom, which is preferably used for heavy demolition work at height. Secondly, the angled KA position may be selected to provide a digging depth of 5m to be reached making it suitable for earthworks and foundation work. When demolishing basements and foundations, the machine can be positioned close to the pit. This not only saves space but also gives the operator a better view of the working area, even if it is at a lower level. The flexibility of the boom also makes transport easier, as the boom can be transported compactly together with the basic machine on a low loader. Equipped with the new 1.7m³ digging bucket, the machine can not only carry out demolition work but also earthmoving tasks such as excavation, foundation work or loading the accumulated debris onto trucks.
Cost and time savings
Another major plus point is that the optional fully hydraulic quick change system allows equipment to be changed at the touch of a button in just a few minutes. This applies to both the booms and the attachment. The basic machine can therefore switch between the three boom variants: the two part AB17 with a reach of 17m, the three part AB23 long-front equipment with a reach of 23m, and the EA12 earthmoving equipment, as well as other attachments, in no time at all and can be adapted to the specific requirements of the construction site. The Sennebogen 830 E Vario Tool can therefore be used easily and economically for multiple jobs on larger demolition projects without the need for an additional machine. This is not only practical, but also significantly reduces both costs and logistics for the demolition contractor.
