At this year’s bauma, Goldhofer Aktiengesellschaft will again be showcasing groundbreaking innovations at its Stand FN.819 in the Outdoor Area North.

Goldhofer will feature a whole host of highlights at bauma. The focus will be on a ‘PST/SL-E split’ self-propelled modular transporter with hydraulic widening. With an axle load of 45t and variable width of 3,000mm to 5,100mm, the ‘split’ with hydraulic widening provides a solution for transporting bulky loads. The vehicle’s tractive power provides efficient performance. With high levels of flexibility provided by the widening system, it is designed to provide the ideal workhorse for transporting industrial loads.

The ‘PST/SL-E split’ is a heavy duty modular transporter being designed for flexibility and performance. Jean-Philippe Martin, director of international business sales explains: “The PST/SL-E split is a real game changer. The drive axle lines allow us to reduce the total number of axle lines required and increase transport performance at the same time. The result is lower fuel consumption and greater efficiency. The vehicle’s widening system and hydraulic support circuits provide enhanced rollover stability, which is particularly invaluable when transporting challenging loads.”

The combination on show will be powered by Goldhofer’s brand new ‘E-PowerPack’. “For the development of our E-PowerPack, we took full advantage of synergies with our Airport Technology division. Our years of experience and expertise in the field of all electric aircraft tow tractors, some of which can move well over 300t, delivered valuable know how. As a result, we will be able to present a technically mature product at bauma, which meets the high expectations of our customers,” says Robert Steinhauser, VP sales and service.

‘Cargoplus’ with low loading height

The ‘Arcus P5’ with Cargoplus tyres will be a further highlight. It is said to have an impressive payload and the lowest loading height on the market. With a loading height of just 735mm and a suspension stroke of 500mm, the ‘Arcus’ is designed to make loading a safe and easy process. Thanks to a combination of forced and friction steered axles, the Arcus provides optimised steering and cornering, resulting in low tyre wear at any ride height.

Dennis Leschensky, director sales Europe / North Africa, describes the Arcus as a milestone in heavy duty logistics: “With its low loading height and high manoeuvrability, the Arcus P sets new standards for the industry. Customers benefit from an enormous payload and low tyre wear, making it an indispensable partner in daily transport operations.”

Goldhofer and TECO

Goldhofer’s product demonstrations will also include an application for industrial customers in cooperation with TECO GmbH. Mounted on the Arcus P5 will be TECO’s HS 850 heavy duty crane. With its hybrid drive system, the crane can be operated purely electrically or in combination with an external power supply and power pack. It comes with remote control for precise operation of all functions, and load torque monitoring for maximum safety.

“Our HS 850 is a real allrounder,” says Michael Haid, TECO’s managing director. “It can be mounted on any chassis or transporter and quickly moved to the required location for immediate operation. This saves time and money. In terms of competence, TECO and Goldhofer are a perfect match. Our partnership enables us to offer customers even greater flexibility and efficiency. For transportation, we place the crane on a multi-axle low loader.” For off road applications and working in confined spaces such as factories and tunnels, the HS 850 can also be mounted on Goldhofer’s self-propelled heavy duty modules, which offer manoeuvrability thanks to a steering angle of ±135° and a suspension stroke of 600mm.

Leader in the field of wind power

The Goldhofer RA 3-100 (4+7) on show at bauma provides a solution for the safe and efficient transportation of tower sections for the wind power industry. With a maximum payload of 100t and an stroke of 2,000mm, the RA 3-100 is designed for outstanding performance and flexibility. A chassis width of 2,950mm provides excellent lateral stability for safety on the move. For even safer and faster loading, Goldhofer uses a four point pick up system with easy relocation of the clamping units. Dennis Leschensky says: “With the RA 3-100, we are setting a new benchmark in tower transportation. Our customers benefit from a high level of manoeuvrability and an uncomplicated system design that makes tower section transport safe and efficient.”

A digital transport planning revolution with Goldhofer

Goldhofer also aims to set new standards in the field of digital transport planning. Thanks to cooperation with the makers of the online software HeavyGoods.net, the planning of heavy duty transports with Goldhofer vehicles will become easier and more economical. As of bauma 2025, ‘easyLOAD’ will be replaced by the ‘HeavyGoods’ app. This software runs in any standard web browser and, with its intuitive operation and advanced algorithms, facilitates fast and precise transport planning. The app calculates axle loads, bending moments, rollover stability, overload limits, cargo lashing and swept paths, and is able to integrate data from 3D drone images. At bauma, the HeavyGoods team will be presenting the new software at the Goldhofer stand (FN.819), and visitors can test it themselves and try out all the new functions.

A contribution to construction site logistics

Finally, Goldhofer’s ‘Starline’ and ‘Trailstar’ for a wide range of transport requirements will also be on show at bauma. “With the Stepstar and Cargoplus tyres for a low ride height of 790 mm and an axle load of 10t, our customers benefit from a vehicle that saves time and money thanks to faster mobilisation and reduced detour distances,” says Robert Steinhauser. “With a design focus on durability and low maintenance, and the use of quality components from BPW and Neumeister, the vehicle also has a high resale value. Our vehicles are designed to ensure that they meet our customers’ requirements while guaranteeing maximum efficiency and safety.”
