The traditional method of installing electrical sockets is to hog out the hole for the socket with a chisel or large angle grinder equipped with a diamond blade. The operator then makes two parallel cuts to make the channel for the conduit. The operator then must chisel out all the material. Since the holes are not cleanly done, a lot of plaster is required to finish the installation.
