Husqvarna has added an updated version of the FS 3500 G self-propelled walk-behind flat saw with a 27.5kW Kohler gasoline engine. It has a cutting depth up to 311mm with a 750mm diameter diamond blade. It is easy to maneuver and ideal for small and medium patch or service jobs cutting in concrete or asphalt.
Bauma is an important platform for Tyrolit to present the latest equipment and solutions for concrete cutting on stand 238 in hall A1. These will include the wall saw wse811***, the Tyrolit dry drilling system, the extended wet drilling range, as well as the ring saw hre400*** and the hand saw hbe350***.

The US company US Saws has introduced the Core EZ, a new way of core drilling. The entire unit and a selection of bits up to 200mm fit into a wheeled case that weighs under 23kg. The Core EZ drills holes from 75mm to 250mm diameter with ease.
Husqvarna is launching Redi Lock G 1400, a new range of metal-bonded diamond tools for the Redi Lock system for surface preparation. The G 1400 has been developed for very hard concrete surfaces. The bright orange colour highlights that the metal bond is softer compared with the previous series for hard concrete, making it the softest range of the Redi Lock system.
In the US the Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association’s training programme surpassed its previous record at World of Concrete by graduating 115 students at the 2016 show in Las Vegas. This represents an increase of 52, or 83%, over the numbers reached in 2014 as the association expanded its courses to four and saw a surge in registrations.

The UK attachments specialist Miller recently added a tilt option to its PowerLatch range of quick couplers. Available for 3.5t to 20t machines, Miller’s PowerLatch Tilt coupler builds on the TwinLock design introduced in 2009.
