ZF Passau awarded as best supplier for construction machinery systems worldwide

Out of 50 nominated companies the division construction machinery systems of ZF Passau made its way. John Deere, the world market leader in the field of work machines (agricultural- and construction machinery) certifies ZF with the desired Innovation Award for superior technical Innovations.

The ZF EFFICIENCY PACKAGE designed at the ZF headquarters in Friedrichshafen and manufactured at the ZF location in Passau accounts for a significant contribution to strengthening the competitiveness of John Deere products. The awarded product “Ergopower Efficiency Package” is a product upgrade consisting of a torque-converter lock-up clutch, 5 instead of 4 gears and additional functions to improve the efficiency of the proven Ergopower transmission.
With up to 20% less fuel consumption the optional package contributes significantly in raising efficiency and reducing exhaust emissions.
