A Pioneer in asphalt recycling

The German crusher manufacturer DSB Innocrush has been conducting pioneering trials during last summer crushing and recycling the special asphalt used in Finland. The company is working closely with its partner in Finland KH Koneet OY, which has supplied to one of its customers an Innocrush 50 and an Innoscreen 25 for use in the trials.

Aquajet on Canadian highway tunnel

Hydrodemolition techniques are being used in Canada for the refurbishment of Montreal’s Highway 720 Ville Marie Tunnel, a key arterial east-west highway across the city. Canada’s infrastructure and general contractor, GTS has taken delivery of the latest generation HVD Evolution robot from Sweden’s Aquajet Systems AB, for hydrodemolition in the Ville Marie Tunnel.

Hydrodemolition helps Costa Rican bridges make the grade

The Spanish hydrodemolition contractor Hidrodem has been using its Swedish Aquajet Systems Aqua cutter robots to remove more than 800m3 of concrete to upgrade existing bridges for a major highway project in Costa Rica. The new 77.5 km San Jose – Caldera highway will be used by more than 81,000 vehicles/day, reducing the travel time between the Central Valley and the Central Pacific Coast by at least 30 minutes.

Swedish dam relies on hydrodemolition techniques during refurbishment

Hydrodemolition techniques are being used for the refurbishment of Sweden’s Järpströmmen hydroelectric power station dam wall and three spillway gates using Aquajet’s Aqua Cutter robotic hydrodemolition equipment. Swedish hydrodemolition specialist E-Schakt is working on the refurbishment contract, 80 km west of Östersund, mid-Sweden; to meet increased water volumes.

Noise problems eliminated by Aquajet on Swedish city centre bridge and tunnel repair

The world’s two major manufacturers of hydrodemolition equipment together with one of Swedens hydrodemolition contractors played a vital role on the current phase of Stockholm’s largest concrete repair project. The contractor E-Schakt used Aquajet’s new Ecosilenced Power Pack and six Conjet Robot hydrodemolition machines. The repair project will cost over SEK1billion (EUR106M) and take five years to complete.
